We strive for a future where all South Carolinians have access to high value, quality health care. A large part of the SC Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare's mission is accomplished through cooperative agreements and grants awarded to competitive applicants.

Supports the expansion of clinical services to eliminate barriers to access to care

- Extending current services by increasing staffing capacity or expanding into new service areas

Provides experiential learning and/or clinical training to expand the rural healthcare workforce

-Implementing a new degree or certificate program to address rural healthcare worker shortages
